It is the first time that Andorra has hosted an Ibero-American Summit and, as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of VATEL Andorra, as well as to offer our students an unrepeatable extra-curricular practical experience, we participated, with the collaboration of our cooking teacher from the first year , Jordi Grau, who is also the executive chef of Sport Hotels Resort & Spa Andorra, where the dignitaries are staying.
Specifically, our students are divided into two groups of five people to work in the room, in the breakfast and lunch services of the restaurants of the Sport Hotel Village and the Sport Hotel, in Soldeu. All this, with the highest safety standards, since a very strict protocol for the control of Covid-19 is followed, with the performance of TMA or PCR tests 48 hours prior to the event, rapid daily antigen tests, the mandatory nature of use FPP2 or surgical masks (cloth ones are not allowed) and ventilate the spaces naturally. The protocol is also carried out in the cleaning and disinfection of the room.
The Ibero-American Summit is entitled “Innovation for sustainable development. Objective 2030. Latin America facing the challenge of the coronavirus ”and it is developed in a semi-face-to-face way.
